The Color Wheel

The color prism is fractured light separated into distinct visible colors you can see. These colors can also be seen on a color wheel available in any art store. In order to cancel out any unwanted color on the hair you simply introduce the color on the opposite side of the color wheel.

Yellow cancels violet

Red cancels green

Orange cancels blue

For example-If you have attempted to color you lace wig and find it has unwanted red tones you would then introduce a green based ash color to combat the red.

If something goes wrong and you need to remove some color try this solution:

Two ounces of clarifying shampoo, two ounces of 20-volume peroxide, not hydrogen peroxide from the drug store. This is peroxide from your beauty supply store, powdered bleach ¼ scoops.

Combine the mixture in a plastic bowl or applicator bottle and apply to the hair and watch your lace wig, as soon as the mixture changes color (about 5 minutes), rinse well.
