Different types of wigs and hair pieces; the benefits and contraindications of each
It is to your advantage to be familiar with different types of hair pieces and quality so you can avoid bad purchases.
Hair Care
You will learn how to care for a variety of products to ensure the hair does not tangle, matt or fall out in the case of extensions and wigs.
Wrapping and prepping your hair for styling
Prepping the hair is very important to ensure great results
The main objective of wrapping and prepping the hair is to evenly distribute the hair around the head. This will ensure your your hair style stays in place over time.
This varies depending on hair texture and length, you will be taught a few different techniques.
Resizing and custom fitting
Many times clients purchase stock units or have not done their measurements properly.
We will teach you various methods of making a wig fit properly. There are many different shapes of heads; you will be taught how to adapt a wig to all.
